You know how Samsung does it. The new TV ad is out :
...and they're trashing the iPhone like usual,
I, for one, do not object to the use of negative ads to defeat Apple.
Apple likes to promote their products as cutting-edge technology, so I don't mind Samsung going after them in advertising like this. The commercial is even written well, displaying how the features on the Galaxy S4 make it superior to the iPhone, such as when the graduate is eating BBQ ribs.

Honestly, I haven't seen the show on HBO but I have read all of A Song of Ice and Fire books that have been published. I hope George R. R. Martin finishes the series before he dies.
Now that I think about it, Apple has been pretty successful with cross-branding with the iPod. Basically advertising specific music with their devices in commercials. I'm surprised that no one has teamed up with a mobile gaming giant like Zynga for commercials or even Facebook advertisements.
